REPERCUSSION THEATRE
In his eight years as Artistic and Executive Director, Paul produced seven Shakespeare-in-the-Park touring productions. He re-branded the organization, and stabilized its finances and governance structure, ensuring the future of Shakespeare-in-the-Park in Montreal. Its summer tour was seen by roughly 10,000 people per summer. During Paul's tenure, dozens of artists and technicians launched their careers and currently work in theatres throughout Canada.

DIRECTING | PRODUCING
Paul has directed and produced over 20 shows. They range from a two person award winning Fringe Festival play, Teaching Hamlet, to a fully staged and filmed 2 1/2 hour opera, Dialogue des Carmelites, by Franicis Poulenc. He's directed three Shakespeare-in-the-Park touring productions and produced and performed in three fundraising cabarets for Santropol Roulant, an intergenerational Meals-on-Wheels organization in Montreal.

TEACHING
Since 2001, Paul has taught at numerous post-secondary institutions including McGill University, Concordia University and Wilfrid Laurier University. In 2019, Paul received his Master's degree in theatre from the University of Guelph. His research interests include The Montreal Repertory Theatre Company (1929-1960). His major research paper, an autoethnography, explored the conditions that shaped Repercussion Theatre within the context of Quebec’s political, societal and cultural
hegemony.
